Bugaboo had her initial radiation treatment at Veterinary Tumor Institute. She got shaved and marked up and will probably stay that way for the rest of the treatments. She was prescribed 17 radiation treatments, four a week (MTuThF). She'll be done with radiation 11/14.

Today I'm taking Bugaboo to her first visit at the radiaiton facility. I'm hoping it's actually her first radiation treatment since that one is supposed to last 3-4 hours as opposed to the "normal" 1-1.5hours. I only have so many vacation days left to take for these types of appointments. I'll probably be online from my cell out of boredom during her treatment if that's the case. Anywho. Off we go!

Apparently she breezed through it. I don't know how I'm going to hold up with the crazy schedule though. On paper it doesn't look too bad, but we'll see. She goes in every monday, tuesday, thursday, and friday from now until Nov 14. Whew. She was freaking out like usual in her carrier on her way there, but other than being a little moody in the car she was fine and when we got home she bounced out of her carrier gave me lots of love and has been acting like nothing happened this morning. Good! They shaved her back again and drew on her with permenant markers. I'll get another photo. I need to find a wireless hotspot near the hospital so I can work while she's in treatment. Trying to download my work mail over dialup was horrendous.
