So I spoke to the radiation facility and they will let me do payments with no charges and no interest. !!!! I have to come up with half the week's treatment costs at the end of each week (~$500) and the remaining half over 3 months once treatment is done. That's not too bad really considering I have $1,100 in the cancer fund right now and I think I can pull together another 1k over the next couple weeks. I feel like a big weight has been lifted. Don't get me wrong I'll still be REALLY poor, but it will be all taken care of in a few months and not looming over me and I there was no stressful credit process. Whew!

It's been one month exactly since Boo's lump was discovered. It feels like it's been many months. After Katrina I was sitting on the patio one evening talking to Boo. I was telling her how wonderfully lucky we were, and that she would get to see me start a family some day. I keep thinking about how she might not be able to now. I still think we are wonderfully lucky though. I love her so much and she is so unconditional in her love.
